Christopher J. Walker, III

    Christopher “CJ” J. Walker III was elected to Town Council in
    May of 2004; He took office on July 1, 2004.  His term runs
    for four years until June 30, 2008.

    Prior to his election to Council he served as the Treasurer for
    the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Retirement Association
    and was on the Board of Directors of the Locust Grove
    Homeowners Association.  He was a member on the Town of
    Purcellville’s Centennial Committee.  He served as a Coach
    and Umpire for the Upper Loudoun Little League, and Coach
    for Upper Loudoun Youth Football League.  C.J. is a 26 year
     veteran of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and has over 30 years of Fire Department experience.

C.J. is the Chairman of the Public Safety Committee as well as the Chairman of the Centennial Committee.   He also serves on the Ways and Means Committee.

C.J. lives in Locust Grove with wife Joni and son C.J. IV.  He has six children, five daughters, Allison, Twins – Brandy & Kellie, Miriam and Rebecca.  C.J. also has three grandchildren, Nicole – 7, Tyler – 5 and Madisen – 2 1/2.
