News Release - Police Report



04/11/2018 – 09:56a.m. 600 Blk. Yaxley Dr. Fraud 

The complainant reported she received numerous calls from someone purporting to be from a governmental agency and that money was owed. She realized that this was likely a scam and contacted police.

04/08/2018 – 06:42p.m. 100 Blk. Purcellville Gateway Dr. Drunk in Public

 Police responded for a report of an intoxicated individual in the parking lot of a shopping center. The person was taken into custody and transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held.

04/07/2018 - 12:24a.m. 700 Blk. E. Main St. Narcotics Violation

A police officer observed a vehicle in a parking lot after hours. The driver was found to be in possession of narcotics. The incident is under investigation.

04/03/2018 – 11:49a.m. 100 Blk. Hirst Rd. Missing Person

 The complainant reported to police that a family member was missing and their whereabouts were unknown. Investigation determined the location of the individual and he was safe and sound.

04/03/2018 – 11:26a.m. 100 Blk. Hirst Rd, Fraud

 The complainant reported that she had received suspicious calls from someone claiming to be from the IRS and realized it was a scam and contacted police.
